About Elephant Car Wash
Located at 27240 168th Pl SE, Covington, WA 98042, Elephant Car Wash operates as a car wash serving Covington in Washington. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as self service car wash, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is Open 24 hours. Covington is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Covington follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Didn't do a great job at getting the muck off of my Jeep. I drive a brick so the machine probably isn't optimised for it, but even the sides of my car are still kind of grimy, even on the premium wash option. I'd recommend only getting the basic wash here and just being ok with it being a stopgap until you can give it a real wash later.

Absolutely the worst car wash in town! I went through this so‑called touchless wash with my brand‑new car, and it ended up with scratches. There’s never an attendant on duty any time of day, and the service is very bad. The wash stopped right after spraying the protectant, so I carefully backed up to restart it—then the side arm scraped my car. When I contacted corporate to report the damage, they refused to take any responsibility and blamed me instead. Terrible experience from start to finish. Avoid this place if you care about your vehicle.

Today, January 25th, I went to the car wash. I paid $16.38 at your location in Covington, but I didn't receive any service. I drove into the car wash, to the fourth bay. It started working, but stopped after just a few seconds, and the entire system shut down. There was no staff, no service.

I accepted the codes, used one and this video shows the result of that carwash. When I contacted corporate with the video and asked them if they felt they would be satisfied with their car looking like mine did I got no response. I also have not received any sort of refund from you. I checked my account and there's no pending refunds of any kind. I'll ask you the same thing I asked in the email. What is the point of codes for complementary carwashes to compensate for a crappy job when I have to come home and was my car again? It was a waste of my time having to do drive several miles from the city I live in to get the wash done and it looked worse than it did before I went there. And it was a waste of my gas . Just about every review I read complained about how terrible the wash was and you have done nothing to improve it. It's unfortunate that companies like this rip people off with no remorse for it. Watch my video. Would you be satisfied with your car looking like that after going through a carwash? I bet you won't answer me but I know the answer is NO you would not and you'd expect to be compensated for it. I've been to 2 locations, both had the same crappy results. Maybe you s

Crazy!! I paid $16 for a car wash that didn’t even dry my car for more than 10 seconds. Literally got out of my car to record how wet it still was. Also my car was still dirty ): was looking forward to trying here after work hoping it would be my new spot. Quick quack is better than here ! 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAR WASH. Rather have a wash that touches my car than a touch free that just sprays it should’ve got the cheapest wash lmfao
